Addison House Surgery in Harlow, Essex consists of eight GPs, two Nurse Practitioners, one Practice Nurse, two Health Care Assistants as well as our Practice Manager, Assistant Practice Manager, Reception and Administration staff providing medical care to approximately 13,000 patients.
We offer a full general practice service and run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes as well as a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery and childhood vaccinations.

Addison House Surgery actively promotes all forms of communication with patients towards providing a safe, prompt and cost effective service. Telephone consultations by clinicians are used daily towards effective assessment of most appropriate management plan for patients. We also use SMS messaging for appointment reminders and patient messaging.
A significant amount of patients' enquiries are effectively dealt with by telephone consultations. Outcomes from telephone consultations include healthcare advice, options for emergency same day appointments as well as advanced appointments at a time convenient for patients.

CQC Inspection 2014
A copy of Addison House Surgery CQC Inspection Report of January 2014 is available via CQC website.
Subsequent Addison House CQC Intelligent Report of November 2014 has identified certain parameters of concern.
We will address the areas of concern promptly and remain fully commited to providing a safe, prompt and courteous service to all our patients.
No issue of compromised patient safety has been raised by these assessments.
