Welcome to Addison House Surgery

The doctors and staff at Addison House Surgery in Harlow, Essex take great pride in the quality of the medical services we provide and we are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare. The practice consists of six GPs, three Nurse Practitioners, two Practice Nurses, one Health Care Assistant as well as our Practice Manager, Assistant Practice Manager, Reception and Administration staff.

We offer a full general practice service and run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes as well as a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery and childhood vaccinations.

This website has been set in place to provide you with everything you need to know about the practice and you will also find a wealth of health-related information in the menu on the right hand side.

Patient Decision Aids

Patient Decision Aids (PDAs) are designed to help patients make difficult decisions about their treatments and medical tests.

They are used when there is no clinical evidence to suggest that one treatment is better than another and patients need help in deciding which option will be best for them.

Free NHS Health Check

As part of a National NHS campaign, the Surgery is offering free health checks to patients aged between 40 and 74 who do not currently suffer with diabetes, stroke, kidney and heart disease.

Appointments are available on weekdays and Saturday mornings. Please contact reception.

Flu Immunisation

Please contact the surgery for your free flu immunisation if you suffer from any of the conditions mentioned in the newsletter

Whooping Cough Immunisation and Pregnancy

Free immunisation is available for all pregnant women from 28 weeks onwards. Please contact surgery reception.
