To get help from NHS111, you can: • call 111 • go to 111.nhs.uk (for people aged 5 and over only) NHS111 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Calls to this service are free from both landlines and mobiles. Evening and weekend appointments You can now see a GP or another healthcare professional on weekday evenings and weekends. To book an appointment, please call the surgery. You will be able to book appointments, view records/results and email your doctors with the online service. 

Evening and Weekend GP service

Patients can see a GP, nurse or healthcare assistant for routine appointments in the evenings and over the weekends.

 Please ask a receptionist to book an appointment for you at a time that suits your needs.

Flu Vaccinations - Patients who are 65 or older on 31st March 2019 are eligible for vaccination, along with any patient under 65 who has any of the following: Chronic Lung Disease, Diabetes, Heart problems, Liver or Kidney Disease, Lowered Immunity, Neurological Disease or is pregnant. To book your vaccination call 01279 621900.

Protecting your child against flu - Information for the parents of all two and three year old children and those living in areas offering the flu vaccinations to pre and primary school aged children.  You will be contacted by your GP or through your child's school about getting your child vaccinated. Named Accountable GP

All patients registered at Addison House Surgery are allocated a named accountable GP. For further information, see link below or speak to your GP - Accountable GP

 

Free NHS Health Check

As part of a National NHS campaign, the Surgery is offering free health checks to patients aged between 40 and 74 who do not currently suffer with diabetes, stroke, kidney and heart disease. Appointments are available on weekdays and Saturday mornings. Please contact reception.

We offer a full general practice service and run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes as well as a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery and childhood vaccinations.

Patient Online Services - SystmOnline

Online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:

  • book or cancel appointments online
  • renew or order repeat prescriptions online
  • view parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results
  • send messages to the Surgery

Just pop into reception with a form of identification (passport or drivers licence) and we can sign you up on the spot!

You will be given a user name and password and you can login to SystmOnline from our homepage. You will need to wait 24 hours for the registration to be live.
